Rockwood Garage – The History Museum of Hood River County

Eleven decades back we saw this Alva Working day image of “Rockwood” which is now a neighborhood of SE Portland.  By some means I missed this even finer picture of the location, taken the very same journey.  The avenue indication says “Rockwood Road” which I’m guessing may now be SE 185th Road.  We’re very likely looking up Baseline (now Stark Street).  I hope that church provides some context.  Make confident you check out out the responses on the earlier Rockwood write-up which provide some added information on the region.  And eventually, the “Webfooters” provide numerous postcard views which incorporate some of these properties
