It looks like George Thomson is mowing the lawn in his Sunday very best.  Their property was on the corner of 9th and Cascade, diagonally throughout from the previous armory building.  I assume it might have been the most significant constructing in Hood River until Thomson and companions developed the Paris Honest setting up.

By this day (circa 1912) the armory was utilized as a carpentry store with a roller skating rink on the second flooring.  We observed it in its previously times right here.  It burned in July 1915, and the whole lot stays vacant to this day.

The write-up Sunday Lawn Mowing appeared 1st on The History Museum of Hood River County.
