These gents seem to be to be taking pleasure in a tenting vacation in the woods, though I wouldn’t say they are roughing it. It seems like they have plenty of big canvas tents for absolutely everyone to have their very own. They have a flag to mark their territory, a Victrola set up to crank the tunes, and even though I don’t see direct proof other visuals in this album (George Thomson family members) would counsel there was some pre-prohibition period alcoholic beverages onsite.
As we’ve observed a few of occasions just before they have named their campsite. “The Imp Inn” indication lists Shorty, Scoop, Boob and Dutch, who I’ll guess are the four lined up less than the sign.
Circa 1912.
