This is Dora Belle Thomson at her home on the corner of 9th and Cascade, circa 1912.

This is only the second image I’ve seen of the “old armory” on Cascade Avenue.  The 1909 Sanborn map shows a large two story building housing a carpentry shop and a roller skating rink in this structure.  I believe by that date the armory itself had moved.  This building was destroyed by fire in 1915 while it was housing the factory for Cutler fruit graders.
